Kat works at NetSupport as their Community Engagement Manager and the Editor of R.I.S.E. Magazine (a free online education magazine). Kat is passionate about closing the gender gap in STEAM, so she is a member of the Global Equality Collective, a Technocamps’ GiST role model, an InnovateHer ambassador and a member of the BESA Women’s Educational Suppliers Network. She won a 2023 We Are Tech Women #TechWomen100 award and the 2022 Nexus Education ‘Classroom and Curriculum Improvement’ award. She is a former primary school teacher and still works closely with educators.
