Created by two teachers, Eduaide can be used to produce a whole range of educational resources to support teaching and learning.  

AI tool of the day:

Eduaide uses a customised Large Language Model (LLM) to create an interface that is both accessible and user-friendly.  

A superb resource, it’s essentially a one-stop shop for creating educational AI resources. 

A free Educaide account is limited to 15 generations per month. A pro plan has no limitations and costs $5.99 per month.  

Educational Benefits: 

Eduaide has the potential to save teachers a lot of time. Teachers often spend countless hours completing daily admin tasks and preparing lesson resources.  Eduaide has lots of tools that can do some of the heavy lifting for teachers, whether that be drafting a formal e-mail to parents or creating a scheme of work.  

Practical Application: 

To access Eduaide you simply need to sign up using a Google account or email address.  After logging in, an on-screen tutorial will automatically launch which will help you learn how the interface works and assist you in producing your first piece of AI-generated content.  

The Content Generator enables you to select a topic, year (American website so enter the grade equivalent), resource type e.g. Unit Plan, and finally the Topic or Keyword(s).  Once you click Add to Workspace the generated content will then appear in the window on the right side of the screen. 

The Content Generator can be used to create a range of resource types which include, planning materials, lesson activities, and quizzes.  

Other features include an Assistant, a Feedback Bot, and an Assessment Builder.  

Considerations and Tips: 

As is the case for all AI tools, the generated content should be checked for bias and accuracy.

Data protection and privacy are also important considerations.
