Eldar Skjørten is an experienced specialist music teacher in Oslo, Norway. He trains teachers all over Norway and his courses and lectures are known for being closely connected to teachers' everyday practice, making it relevant, useful and feasible. Eldar is also the founder of Skapia, an organization working with composition and creativity in Norwegian schools, in collaboration with professional composers and major symphony orchestras. He has initiated conferences for technology in music education and in 2015 Eldar became an Apple Distinguished Educator.
